Whether for order visualization in production, as a terminal for controlling machines or as a logistics terminal in forklifts, the application scenarios for the Rocksmart RSC800 series are diverse. The new Rocksmart RSC800 industrial panel PC series is specially designed for use in harsh production, warehouse and logistics environments. It combines ruggedness, innovative technologies and a slim, modern design in one housing.
Rugged technology in a slim design
Hot production environments, rough terrain, bumpy ground – Rocksmart RSC800 industrial PCs take on almost any environment. All components are shock-resistant to military standards and designed for many years of continuous operation in tough environments. The rugged aluminum construction provides additional protection against external influences such as dust and moisture according to IP65 protection standard (connections are unprotected in standard version, but can also be fully protected according to IP65 if required). The particularly slim design of significantly less than 8 cm in depth allows it to be optimally used in confined situations such as a forklift cab.
Optimized operability and outstanding image quality
The Rocksmart RSC800 series puts the user in the foreground: The compact 10.4 inch display of the Rocksmart RSC810 in industrial quality stands for long-lasting continuous use with XGA resolution, 450 nits brightness and a high viewing angle of up to 89° per axis.
Specially optimized touchscreen technologies ensure optimal operability. The scratch- and impact-resistant capacitive multi-touch offers versatile operating options – whether gesture control with fingers, touch pens or even with gloves. And for particularly harsh environments, the alternative resistive-analog (pressure-sensitive) touchscreen also enables operation with thick protective gloves.
Optionally, the display can be supplied with up to 1,200 nits brightness. This ensures that your Panel PC remains legible even in very bright environments and direct sunlight. Optional optical bonding further increases impact resistance and ensures even better color brilliance of the display.
Modern Intel® processors with long-term availability
Whether designed as a simple operator terminal or for demanding tasks. The Rocksmart RSC800 industrial PCs shine in every scenario. They are available with up to 32 GB RAM and efficient Intel® Celeron J6142 4-core processor (“Elkhart Lake” series) for all standard processes or Core i5-1245U 10-core processor (“Alder Lake” series) for all demanding tasks. USB 3 ports as well as 2.5 Gbit Ethernet ports and a RS232 port are available for high integration capability. Designed for industrial needs, all components are selected for long-term availability.
Connected — anytime and anywhere
Pick faster, deliver more reliably, work more efficiently – the Rocksmart RSC800 terminals collect data where it is needed. In the hall as well as in the open air. They offer industry-leading 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ax dual-band Wi-Fi 6 WLAN with Bluetooth 5.3 and enable seamless roaming between different radio cells thanks to 802.11r with two integrated high-performance antennas. This means they are not only networked at all times, but also benefit from options such as indoor navigation. Optionally, the Panel PC also radios via cellular 4G LTE and offers integrated GPS for positioning. As an alternative to the internal antennas, external antennas can also be supplied for mounting on a vehicle roof, for example.
Reliable power supply for maximum process reliability
Out of the box, the Rocksmart RSC810 Panel PC offers a particularly wide input voltage range of 6 to 60 volts – ideal for integration into the on-board power supply systems of a wide variety of vehicle systems or in the event of fluctuating input voltages. The optional integrated uninterruptible power supply bridges voltage drops or sags. This prevents a sudden shutdown of the running terminal and the associated loss of unsaved data. This ensures very high data and process reliability. Simple installation via universal VESA mounting points facilitates integration into existing systems.

Sustainability
The production of electronic devices unavoidably causes greenhouse gas emissions along the process chain. During the production and transport of the Rocksmart RSC810, all unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions are offset so that you receive a climate-neutral product. In addition, like all WEROCK devices, the Rocksmart RSC810 is designed for durability. The extended lifetime minimizes the need to buy new devices and further reduces the environmental impact.
The production of the Rocksmart RSC810causes 289 kg of CO2e emissions.
These non-avoidable emissions are fully and generously offset by Gold Standard projects.
