The Rocksmart RSX1000 is a fanless industrial embedded PC for reliable edge computing in machines, vehicles, or systems. Thanks to its 24/7 design, wide 12–24 V (optional 9–60 V DC) input, and boot-on-power, it operates stably even in dusty environments, under vibration, and with voltage fluctuations. The Rocksmart RSX1000 is a compact industrial embedded PC that reliably delivers edge workloads to where they need to be: directly into the machine, vehicle, or plant. In practice, many systems fail not because of computing power, but because of the operating conditions: clogged fans, temperature stress, vibrations, dirty power grids, or reboots after power failures—resulting in expensive downtime and unplanned service calls.

Stable performance

In mobile machines or vehicles, start-up processes, load changes, and voltage drops are part of everyday life. Many PCs respond to this with restarts or unstable behavior. The Rocksmart RSX1000 is optionally designed for 9–60 V DC and supports boot-on-power, which means that the system starts automatically as soon as power is supplied, making it suitable for unattended installations. At the same time, the fanless design reduces typical problems caused by dust and wear and tear in 24/7 operation.

Edge performance where standard PCs fail

If reliability in the field, robust power supply, and industrial I/O are important, Rocksmart RSX1000 is the right choice. However, if you are only looking for an office PC for air-conditioned control cabinets without vibrations and without interface requirements, a simpler platform is usually the more economical decision.

Sustainability

The production of electronic devices unavoidably causes greenhouse gas emissions along the process chain. During the production and transport of the Rocksmart RSX1000, all unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions are offset so that you receive a climate-neutral product. In addition, like all WEROCK devices, the Rocksmart RSX1000 is designed for durability. The extended lifetime minimizes the need to buy new devices and further reduces the environmental impact.

The production of the Rocksmart RSX1000 causes 346 kg of CO2e emissions.

These non-avoidable emissions are fully and generously offset by Gold Standard projects.
