Outstanding features, built for tough everyday use
The Scoria A105 mobile computer can be used directly. Since employees are usually familiar with Android, the learning curve is minimal. They can be used in all conceivable environments. Built to be waterproof and dustproof, they can withstand drops onto concrete as well as snow, rain, heat and cold. This ruggedness has also been certified to military standard MIL-STD-810G to ensure many years of investment protection.
A barcode scanner is integrated directly into the housing of the industrial handheld for your daily entries and exits of warehouse and retail goods. This offers unparalleled code capture despite the compact housing. Specially developed for the most scan-intensive tasks, it scores with lightning-fast and reliable scans. Count on the high-performance, best-in-class data capture you need to increase worker productivity and efficiency thanks to industry-leading decoding algorithms and advanced focusing, optics and illumination systems. The integrated “Aiming LED” and optically clear scan field provide additional visual support for efficient scanning. The integrated 13 megapixel camera also enables image and document capture, as well as evidence of repairs/maintenance performed, damaged products/packaging, and current asset conditions.
Like a smartphone, but better
Scoria A105 is not only ideal as a mobile computer, the device also cuts a good figure as a phone and scores with excellent voice quality and functionality. VoLTE, for example, offers first-class voice quality in mobile networks, while VoWiFi provides outstanding voice quality via the WLAN network when reception is poor in the warehouse, for example. Integrated Assisted GPS with OTDOA enables fast navigation and positioning, ideal for use on the move.
Scoria A104 offers a bright and high-contrast 5-inch touchscreen display, has multi-touch capabilities and is easy to read both indoors and outdoors in direct sunlight. With a depth of 16 mm, the devices fit in any pocket and at 220 grams are insignificantly heavier than standard smartphones. The A105 has scan buttons on the side for convenient scanning. In addition, there is a contactless NFC smart reader on the back of the A105 for much easier reading of card data and communication with other devices. Use this feature for retail loyalty cards, personnel verification, or micro-payment transactions.
Power as much and as long as you need
The Scoria A105 also rivals regular smartphones in performance and connectivity. The integrated Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 625 mobile platform delivers a premium combination of advanced features, leading performance, robust connectivity and all-day battery life. Eight cores with dynamic clock speeds up to 2 GHz and 4 GB of internal memory run the most demanding applications. Together, they ensure that the device does not reach its performance limits. The modern Android 9 operating system, which has so far only been found on a few industrial devices, also offers intelligent battery management, multitasking and more performance. With an integrated Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X9 LTE modem and PC-class Qualcomm® Adreno™ 506 graphics, the Snapdragon 625 delivers fast connectivity and powerful, efficient performance. For comprehensive wireless connectivity, Scoria A100 series devices communicate via Wi-Fi with AC standard for prompt access to download and upload connections, USB-C for fast data exchange, Bluetooth® 4.1 BLE and NFC for best connectivity with BT and NFC devices respectively.
The internal battery is one of the largest in this device class and is more than sufficient for a typical 8-hour workday. For longer use, an additional Snapon battery is available, which doubles the runtime of the Scoria series. The devices can be charged with increased speed via USB-C thanks to QuickCharge 3.0 or via optionally available single or multi-docking stations.
Ivanti Wavelink Device Validation
The Soria A100 series has also received Ivanti Wavelink certification, allowing the comprehensive Ivanti Velocity solution to be used on both devices. Ivanti Velocity provides terminal emulation (TE) for connections to host systems with 5250, 3270, VT and HP emulations, as well as an industrial browser for modern applications with web server-based applications. Velocity is an SAP S/4HANA-certified solution and offers multi-vendor support for connecting mobile devices to enterprise systems. The software further enables optimization and automation in work processes.

Sustainability
During the production and transport of the Scoria A105, all unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions are offset, so you get a climate-neutral product. In addition, the Scoria A105, like all WEROCK devices, is designed for longevity. The extended lifespan minimizes the need to purchase new equipment and further reduces environmental impact. Even when transporting the Scoria A105, care is taken to use a minimum of packaging material to save up to 60% in space and weight. Our packaging is primarily made of cardboard. Delivery within Germany is carried out in cooperation with DHL GoGreen and abroad preferably by rail freight.
The production of the Scoria A105 causes 78 kg of CO2e emissions.
These non-avoidable emissions are fully and generously offset by Gold Standard projects.
