New high-performance batteries for the Rocktab U210, Rocktab U210 Pro, and Rocktab U212 Pro tablets—up to 53% more battery capacity, even for existing devices
WEROCK Technologies GmbH, an innovative manufacturer of rugged tablets, mobile data collection devices, and barcode scanners, is expanding its Rocktab Ultra series with two new high-performance batteries. Depending on the model, companies can benefit from up to 53% more battery capacity and correspondingly longer runtime—even for devices already in use.
WEROCK’s Rocktab Ultra series features rugged tablet PCs designed for professional use in industry, logistics, field service, public service, and other demanding work environments where reliability, mobility, and endurance are critical. When tablets reach their limits too soon during use, it costs time, disrupts workflows, and increases organizational overhead. Especially in sectors such as service, utilities, construction, or logistics, long battery life is often crucial to whether teams can stay productive throughout the day.
An optional 50-Wh battery is now available for the Rocktab U210. This model comes standard with a 32-Wh battery. The new battery option thus offers 51% more capacity and enables a correspondingly longer runtime for mobile applications.
Battery life is also significantly extended on the higher-performance models in the series. The Rocktab U210 Pro and Rocktab U212 Pro come standard with a 64-Wh battery. An optional 98-Wh battery is now available. This increases capacity by 53%—ideal for long shifts and demanding tasks where recharging isn’t always possible.
A particular advantage for businesses: The standard batteries currently in use will remain available. Existing customers can simply purchase the new high-performance batteries as a supplement and continue to use their existing batteries as spares or backups. This allows them to extend the runtime of their existing device fleet in a targeted manner without having to purchase new industrial tablets.
