WEROCK Technologies GmbH, innovative manufacturer of industrial IT and communication solutions, announces the release of the Rocktab L110. A powerful, fully rugged tablet – specially designed for outdoor use. With this release, the manufacturer expands its product range with a 10″ tablet for harsh working environments with a large battery, extensive expansion and accessory options and a particularly bright display.
The light and compact L110 is designed to be powerful and versatile in any working environment. The 10.1″ tablet offers optimal ease of use in continuous use and a well thought-out range of accessories. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core or Intel Quad-Core processor and 4 GB memory ensure the right performance. Customers can choose between Windows 10 Professional or Android 9. For data storage, the L110 provides a built-in SSD with optional 64GB or 128GB. The memory can also be expanded with a micro SDHC/SDXC card.
Designed for maximum robustness, the Rocktab L110 can withstand even the most adverse environmental conditions. The MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certified tablet can be used reliably in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +60°C and can withstand falls from a height of up to 1.20 metres. Users can therefore use the device in extremely harsh, dangerous or chaotic conditions without any worries. This makes the 10-inch device ideal for use on construction sites, in warehouses, on forklift trucks, on power plants, in rescue services or in the military.
The battery capacity of 37 Wh is sufficient for a complete working day, in the Android version even significantly longer. The exchangeable battery is charged via power supply unit, charging station or vehicle mount. Strong luminosity is a prerequisite for tablets to be easily readable even in direct sunlight. The 10.1 inch touchscreen display made of robust Corning Gorilla Glass 3 offers typical smartphone operation and impresses with a brightness of up to 1000 cd/m2. It can also be operated while wearing work gloves or outdoors in rain showers.
The Rocktab L110 can be pre-configured for the intended use and equipped with additional functions. It comes with function keys, rear and front camera, USB C and USB 3.0 ports. Both Windows and Android versions have modern security features such as TPM 2.0, optional fingerprint sensor and other hardware and software specific security functions. Via Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band 802.11ac WLAN and 4G LTE with integrated GPS, users can communicate reliably with their colleagues even in the most remote locations. In addition, optional functions such as fingerprint reader, 2D barcode scanner, NFC, RFID and Ethernet connection are available. The L110 also guarantees maximum functionality through the compatibility of its wide range of accessories, including an ergonomic handle, anti-reflective protective film and secure vehicle docking stations.
