High scanning volume no longer a problem: WEROCK Scoria M240 with new pistol grip

WEROCK Technologies GmbH, innovative manufacturer of industrial computer technology, presents new accessories for the Scoria M240 mobile computer: a practical pistol grip. This enables comfortable handling at high scan volumes and is the ideal addition for data acquisition-intensive applications.

The Scoria M240 is already the ideal partner for logistics and transport applications with its rugged housing, long battery life and numerous scanning functions. The mobile computer scores with a high-end barcode scanner with standard range, making it ideal for order picking, parcel delivery, inventory, and more. It scans all common 1D and 2D barcodes even in damaged and poorly readable conditions. Even from an angle of up to 60°, the device can perform scanning without any problem. An aiming LED and a clearly delineated scan field make scanning easier.

The new pistol grip now makes the Scoria M240 even more powerful. It easily attaches to the device and transforms the handheld into a pistol-shaped mobile computer. The accessory is characterized by its light weight and comfortable grip. Data transfer is lightning fast via the contact connector. The handle does not require its own battery and the handheld can be charged via the charging station even with the handle mounted. No tools are required for mounting and the handle is simply clipped on.

“The pistol grip is the perfect complement for the Scoria M240 and further facilitates data acquisition-intensive applications,” said Markus Nicoleit, managing director of WEROCK. “It is one of the most requested accessories and we are pleased that it is finally officially available,” Nicoleit continued.

The Scoria M240 and accessories are available now through WEROCK or authorized distributors. Further information is available here.
