WEROCK Technologies GmbH, innovative manufacturer of industrial computer technology, updates the rugged notebook series “Rockbook X500”. The Rockbook X540 (14-inch display) and Rockbook X550 G2 (15.6-inch display) models now come with new and improved features.

Rockbook X540 with Intel Core i7 CPU: Brilliant display with 1000 nits

For the Rockbook X540 with Intel Core i7 processor, WEROCK now offers an even brighter display with 1000 nits, which significantly improves readability in bright sunlight. This innovation is available immediately and underlines WEROCK’s commitment to continuously optimize the performance of its products.

Rockbook X550 G2: Configuration with Intel Core i7 and 32 GB RAM from quantity 1

The Rockbook X550 G2 takes account of the increased memory requirements in the industry. The model is now also available with an Intel Core i7 processor and an impressive 32 GB RAM from a quantity of 1. This upgrade enables field service professionals to customize the high performance of the Rockbook X550 G2 even more individually to their requirements. Previously, this option was only available on a project basis.

Larger NVMe options up to 2 TB

Both notebooks are now available with larger storage options, making the notebooks more versatile. The NVMe main memory is now configurable up to 2 TB, an additional hard disk slot allows the integration of a second SATA SSD, and the SDXC card slot enables flexible data transfer.

Rockbook X540 and X550 G2 are specially designed for professional use in demanding environments. Equipped with Intel® Core™ processors up to Core™ i7, Windows 11 Pro and an impressive range of features, they offer outstanding performance for data- and/or graphics-intensive tasks with economical power consumption. Numerous ports such as USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and RS232 ensure optimal connectivity.

Rockbook X540 and X550 G2 are resistant to all the rigors of field work: they are dust and water-protected to IP65, meet the military standard (MIL-STD-810G) for temperature, humidity and vibration and are 26-sided tested for drops from 122 cm. They are also suitable for use in extreme temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. This guarantees maximum performance and reliability.

“We pride ourselves on continuously improving our product range and responding to the needs of our customers,” says Markus Nicoleit, Managing Director at WEROCK Technologies. “Our customers’ satisfaction is our top priority, and we strive to offer them the best possible solutions for their respective professional challenges,” continues Nicoleit.
